Lancia will re-enter the UK market in late 2008, and the Delta HPE will spearhead its return. And the range could grow to four models, including a sports car based on the Fulvia concept. 'This is the car we will launch in Europe in spring 2008,' says Olivier François, president of Lancia.
The MINI Countryman Cooper S Diesel
The prospect of a more powerful diesel for MINI has been around for a while. In fact it’s almost exactly a year since we brought you a spy photo of the MINI Cooper S Diesel which we reckoned would sport somewhere around 140bhp and a useful wodge of torque. Fast forward to August this year and we heard that MINI were taking the MINI Cooper S Diesel to the Paris Motor Show.
The Hyundai HND-9 is a concept coupe from Hyundai, heading for the Seoul Motor Show at the end of March, and probably previews the next Genesis Coupe. The Hyundai HND-9 is, according to Hyundai, the ‘Latest luxury sports coupe’, which we assume means the HND-9 is pointing at the next generation Genesis Coupe, a car we don’t (yet) get in the UK. The HND-9 gets an evolution of Hyundai’s fluidic design (although, unlike the latest Santa Fe where Hyundai decided the new design was called ‘Storm’, the HND-9′s design doesn’t get a name) which Hyundai say is a modern reinterpretation of an elegant classic premium sports coupe.
